Kidd's mission with CoCo Noir Wine Shop and Bar and with all of her business entities, is to create diversity, inclusivity, with a social impact focus while providing an integrated approach comprised of selling wines offered by BIPOC, POC, Women, and other diverse winemakers & negotiants. This is an amazing and unique opportunity to have a full, well-rounded experience of both wine and small bites curated by some of the best winemakers and chefs of color in their industries. In addition, to offering diverse wine brands, the shop will also offer beer, non alcoholic beverages, and small tapas bites also curated by BIPOC, POC, and women chefs and other women companies. Located in one of the premiere downtown locations for dining and inside the sleek, high end Atlas building and nestled in Oakland's Black Arts Movement Business District, CoCo Noir will offer wine tasting and of course the opportunity to purchase wine (including champagne and beer) from prominent winemakers, worldwide. With years of wine entrepreneurship and industry experience under her belt, Alicia Kidd, who is the creator and founder of this newest hot spot, CoCo Noir, specializes in providing retail, distribution, wholesale, importing, and tech solutions for minority and women winemakers.
